Violin like you've never heard it before!

Black Violin is a blend of classical, hip-hop, rock, R&B and bluegrass music that showcases the group's dynamic performance style. Black Violin bridges infectious beats and lyrical melodies with classical instrumentation and searing technique that defies expectations and shatters stereotypes. Live, the group is accompanied by its incredible band, featuring ace turntable whiz DJ SPS and a drummer. The duo has shared the stage with such top names as Kanye West and Aerosmith, and has collaborated with the likes of Wu-Tang Clan, Wyclef Jean, P. Diddy, Alicia Keys, Tom Petty, Aretha Franklin and The Eagles. Black Violin's most recent record "Stereotypes" debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Classical Crossover Chart and No. 4 on the Billboard R&B Chart. Named one of the hottest bands at SXSW in 2013, Black Violin was invited to perform at Bonnaroo and returned to SXSW this year to standing room-only crowds.
